David MacGregor Barlow spent three decades in advertising, winning 18 international awards as copywriter and creative director. He has written and photographed numerous magazine features and is an award-winning author of short fiction. David has been a stock photographer and travel blogger for international clients. He spent several years in Shanghai, where he photographed the changing city by night, and created the Shanghai Frames art series at his workshop in a derelict 1923 mansion. David had three art exhibitions in Shanghai. Currently based in Hong Kong, David divides his time between freelance writing for select clients and restoring vintage typewriters.
